COVER THE CITY IN PRAYER

We’re not just gathering to pray—we’re scattering to pray.

At True North, we believe prayer is not our last resort.
It’s our first response.

We’re asking our church to help cover our city in prayer
* one prayer need,
* one prayer team member,
* one prayer circle, and
* one neighborhood walk at a time.

This is bigger than a program. This is a movement.

A movement of people who pray first.
A movement of people who believe God still moves.
A movement of people who want to see homes, schools, streets, and neighborhoods covered in prayer.

A CHURCH THAT PRAYS

Jesus said,
“My house will be called a house of prayer.” — Matthew 21:13

As we step into a new season as a church, we want to be known not just for what happens inside our building, but for what happens when God’s people begin to pray.

* We want to pray for each other.

* We want to pray for our church.

* We want to pray for our city.

* We want to pray where we live, where we work, where we go to school, and where people are hurting.

So we’re inviting everyone at True North to take part in four simple challenges.

1) SEND IN A PRAYER NEED

You don’t have to carry everything alone.

If you have a burden, a challenge, a need, or a situation you want prayer for, let us know. Our team would be honored to pray with you and for you.

Whether it’s personal, relational, financial, emotional, physical, or spiritual—we believe God hears prayer.

CHALLENGE:  Submit your prayer request this week.

2) JOIN THE 500 WEEKLY E-PRAYER TEAM

We are believing God to raise up 500 people who will commit to pray each week.

As part of the weekly e-prayer team, you’ll receive prayer updates and requests so you can intentionally stand in prayer for people, needs, and ministry moments across our church and city.

You may not be able to do everything—but you can pray.
And prayer changes things.

CHALLENGE:  Join the 500 and become part of our weekly prayer team.

3) START A PRAYER CIRCLE

Prayer is powerful when it becomes personal and consistent.

A prayer circle is simply a small group of people who commit to pray together on a regular basis—for each other, for our church, and for our city.

This could be:
* your family
* your Life Group
* a few friends
* coworkers
* students
* neighbors

You do not need a perfect plan. You just need a willing heart. Start small. Stay faithful. Watch what God does.

CHALLENGE: Start a prayer circle and begin praying with others.

4) WALK OUR CITY / WALK YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD

We don’t want to just talk about prayer. We want to walk prayer into our city.

Prayer walking is simple:

Take a walk through your neighborhood, your street, your school, your workplace area, or a part of the city God puts on your heart—and pray.

* Pray for homes.
* Pray for families.
* Pray for peace.
* Pray for healing.
* Pray for salvation.
* Pray for God’s presence to fill our city.

This is not about being strange or drawing attention to yourself.

* You do not need a microphone.
* You do not need to knock on doors.
* You do not need to have all the right words.
* Just walk.
* Just notice.
* Just pray.

Challenge: Walk your neighborhood this week and pray over the city.
